Coach Laryssa Salinas was born and raised in Alice, Texas and is a proud graduate of Alice High School, class of 2019. She attended Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi for one year and transferred to Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where she cheered for the University cheerleading team, and was a part of The South Texan (the university’s award winning newspaper) as the campus editor.
Coach Salinas obtained a degree in a Communications with a focus in Speech. Laryssa is a proud mother of Kaleb Javier Salaiz, and Aviana Jo Salaiz in which she raises alongside her partner Rene Javier (RJ) Salaiz. Laryssa will begin her first year with Alice ISD teaching Speech at William Adams Middle school. As well as coaching the William Adams cheer team and JV track and field.
