Coach R is a 1995 graduate of Alice HS and received his Bachelor's degree in 2000 from Texas A&M Kingsville. He is in his 23rd year with Alice ISD and currently serves as the Head Boys Soccer Coach and Head Freshman Football Coach. He is starting his 26th year in teaching and coaching, having spent the past 13 years as the head boys soccer coach. He has 26 years of football coaching experience and teaches Math at AHS. Coach R is married to Lynette who is the DAEP Principal with AISD and they have 3 children.
