Coach Dion Lansdale is a veteran coach of 28 years at the high school and college levels. He most recently spent the last 3 years at Taft High School where he was the head boys basketball coach, head golf coach and the assistant cross-country coach.
A graduate of Purcell High School in Purcell, OK, he received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of North Texas and a Master of Science in Sports Management from American Military University. He comes to Alice to take over the boys basketball program and assist in cross-country.
Coach Lansdale lives in Corpus Christi with his family, fiance Sasha, boys Carter and Hayden and dog Hercules. He also has an adult son, Branton, who lives in Corpus Christi. He hopes to help continue to build upon the tradition started in basketball in Alice. Go Coyotes!
