Coach Ben Barrera was born and raised in Alice, TX and is a graduate of Alice High School. He received his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Coach Barrera is married with two wonderful children. Coach Barrera will be in his third year in education and second year in Alice, Texas, America! Coach Barrera will be at WAMS teaching Physical Education and will have coaching duties of football, basketball at WAMS and softball at the high school. Coach Barrera is very humbled and honored to receive this opportunity to be on the Alice Coyote coaching staff and to be giving back to the community where he originated from.
